Mack.Ing Black History

This is the door of W W Samuell High School teacher LaTeasha Ford.
This is the same school that I (barely) graduated from in 1998…the same year that she graduated.

Yes, my friend from high school is now a teacher at our old high school & for Black History Month, she decided to dedicate & design her classroom door with my artwork!

Saying I was humbled when she told me & showed me would be an understatement.

I do art for me.
I truly enjoy it.
From idea to creative process to final draft.

With that said, if anyone sees my work & appreciates it, it makes me happy & motivates me to keep creating.

I’m very appreciative of being seen by someone that already saw me.
In addition, being thought of as someone that’s Mack.ing history.
