{"id":2861,"date":"2025-10-20T23:30:22","date_gmt":"2025-10-20T23:30:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mackis.com\/?p=2861"},"modified":"2025-10-20T23:30:23","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T23:30:23","slug":"vans-old-skool-new-balance-327","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mackis.com\/index.php\/2025\/10\/20\/vans-old-skool-new-balance-327\/","title":{"rendered":"The best &amp; worst 3 sneakers for street photography\u2026according to me."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"878\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/New-Balance-327-878x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2862\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/New-Balance-327-878x1024.jpg 878w, https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/New-Balance-327-257x300.jpg 257w, https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/New-Balance-327-768x896.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/New-Balance-327.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 878px) 100vw, 878px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Okay, no need to make it suspenseful\u2026it\u2019s New Balance 327.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New Balance 327s<\/strong> are hella comfortable &amp; the colorways range from basic to dope\u2026nothing too crazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, before I go any further, I\u2019m obviously basing my opinion off of sneakers that I own &amp; have worn while walking at least 3 miles in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, back to my list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2nd &#8211; Clark\u2019s Wallabees.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These come with an asterisk\u2026these are only good on city streets, I do not recommend wearing wallabees on trails or hiking\u2026you will break or twist your ankle in these shoes. They\u2019re narrow AF, so non flat surfaces are no bueno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They come in a wide array of styles &amp; designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leather, suede, leather &amp; suede combination, high, low &amp; even Gore-tex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have a pair of Gore-tex wallabees with a hiking boot bottom\u2026still wouldn\u2019t hike or walk a trial in them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3rd &#8211; Vans Old Skool.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who knew Vans were this comfortable?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m definitely one of the last to know, I bought my first pair of Vans about 8 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hella comfortable &amp; more colorways &amp; styles than you can shake a stick at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have them in suede &amp; nylon &amp; pony hair\u2026yes pony hair Vans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"878\" height=\"1024\" data-id=\"2864\" src=\"https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Vans-Old-Skool-878x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2864\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Vans-Old-Skool-878x1024.jpg 878w, https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Vans-Old-Skool-257x300.jpg 257w, https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Vans-Old-Skool-768x896.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Vans-Old-Skool.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 878px) 100vw, 878px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"878\" height=\"1024\" data-id=\"2863\" src=\"https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Clarks-Wallabees-878x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2863\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Clarks-Wallabees-878x1024.jpg 878w, https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Clarks-Wallabees-257x300.jpg 257w, https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Clarks-Wallabees-768x896.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mackis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Clarks-Wallabees.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 878px) 100vw, 878px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, my 3 least favorite &amp; most uncomfortable sneakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1st &#8211; Adidas gazelle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This one hurts because Adidas gazelles are my favorite sneakers of all time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The problem is, after you walk over a certain amount of miles\u2026they start to squeak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All leather, leather &amp; nylon, all suede\u2026all the same problem. Also, the suede versions start to feel heavy after a couple miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Still my favorite looking shoe though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2nd &#8211; Jordan 1s.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve only walked in the high, so maybe the Jordan 1 lo are different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The high do what I call \u201cbite\u201d. After a couple of miles, the front where the sneaker creases will begin to pinch the side of my toes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It doesn\u2019t hurt, but it\u2019s very annoying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They&#8217;re made for basketball anyway, so it\u2019s no surprise that they\u2019re not good walking sneakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3rd &#8211; let\u2019s call it a tie between Nike Huaraches &amp; Puma Clydes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Puma Clydes are comfortable, but they\u2019re only made for style. You\u2019ll only be able to walk in them 3\/4 times before you have to retire them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They crease too easily in leather &amp; the sole attracts dirt like a magnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nike Huaraches have the same problem as the Jordan 1s\u2026they get hungry &amp; start to nibble on the sides of your toes after a couple of miles. They\u2019re also only made for style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are my favorite &amp; least favorite 3 sneakers to do street photography in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you agree or disagree?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Better yet, do you have any suggestions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whatcha got?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, no need to make it suspenseful\u2026it\u2019s New Balance 327.
