Wait before you devour a dozen cookies or yell “fake news!” Let’s look at this from a logical perspective.
As a cookie connoisseur, chocolate chip cookies are a staple & very important part of my diet. The mere aroma of freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies can make me happier.
The keyword there is “happier”…I’m already a generally happy person, but the happy part is imperative for where I’m attempting to go with this.
If you Google “Are chocolate chip cookies healthy?”
The results are a resounding NO!
Chocolate chip cookies are usually not considered “healthy”.
Due to…
•Fat
•High sugar
•High calorie content
…but if you Google “Does being happy have a direct impact on your health?”
The answer is a resounding YES!

Your happiness has a significant & direct impact on various aspects of life, including…
•Improved sleep
•Lower blood pressure
•Better immune function
•Reduced risk of cardiovascular disease
•and my favorite…healthier behaviors!
That’s right, we’ve come full circle.
Happy people tend to engage in more healthy behaviors, like exercising & eating a balanced diet.
If I were to make a short list of some of the things that made me happy…
•Chocolate chip cookies
•Running/walking
•Being creative
So, are chocolate chip cookies healthy for you?
Directly speaking…no.
But indirectly speaking…absolutely.
So, yes…devour a dozen chocolate chip cookies (in moderation, as part of a healthy &/or somewhat healthy lifestyle that’s in the pursuit of a greater happiness).
