Okay, no need to make it suspenseful…it’s New Balance 327.
New Balance 327s are hella comfortable & the colorways range from basic to dope…nothing too crazy.
Now, before I go any further, I’m obviously basing my opinion off of sneakers that I own & have worn while walking at least 3 miles in.
Now, back to my list.
2nd – Clark’s Wallabees.
These come with an asterisk…these are only good on city streets, I do not recommend wearing wallabees on trails or hiking…you will break or twist your ankle in these shoes. They’re narrow AF, so non flat surfaces are no bueno.
They come in a wide array of styles & designs.
Leather, suede, leather & suede combination, high, low & even Gore-tex.
I have a pair of Gore-tex wallabees with a hiking boot bottom…still wouldn’t hike or walk a trial in them.
3rd – Vans Old Skool.
Who knew Vans were this comfortable?
I’m definitely one of the last to know, I bought my first pair of Vans about 8 years ago.
Hella comfortable & more colorways & styles than you can shake a stick at.
I have them in suede & nylon & pony hair…yes pony hair Vans.

Now, my 3 least favorite & most uncomfortable sneakers.
1st – Adidas gazelle.
This one hurts because Adidas gazelles are my favorite sneakers of all time.
The problem is, after you walk over a certain amount of miles…they start to squeak.
All leather, leather & nylon, all suede…all the same problem. Also, the suede versions start to feel heavy after a couple miles.
Still my favorite looking shoe though.
2nd – Jordan 1s.
I’ve only walked in the high, so maybe the Jordan 1 lo are different.
The high do what I call “bite”. After a couple of miles, the front where the sneaker creases will begin to pinch the side of my toes.
It doesn’t hurt, but it’s very annoying.
They’re made for basketball anyway, so it’s no surprise that they’re not good walking sneakers.
3rd – let’s call it a tie between Nike Huaraches & Puma Clydes.
Puma Clydes are comfortable, but they’re only made for style. You’ll only be able to walk in them 3/4 times before you have to retire them.
They crease too easily in leather & the sole attracts dirt like a magnet.
Nike Huaraches have the same problem as the Jordan 1s…they get hungry & start to nibble on the sides of your toes after a couple of miles. They’re also only made for style.
These are my favorite & least favorite 3 sneakers to do street photography in.
Do you agree or disagree?
Better yet, do you have any suggestions?
Whatcha got?
